False economy

I object to the closure of the tourist centre and the consequent loss of jobs.

The council, presumably,

as not considered the many older people who travel on the buses for free and, therefore, may alight right next to the tourist centre.

The 700 goes right along the coast and anyone who wants to know their way around Worthing would naturally gravitate to somewhere with ‘Visit Worthing’ in large letters on the shop front!

It seems a false economy to close a tourist centre in such a prime location.

We should also consider what is going to take its place. Is it planned to replace it with something equally useful?
