I WOULD like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Anthony Cooke Retrospective Exhibition at Worthing Museum and Art Gallery to make it such a success.
Thank you not only to my friends and family who donated the paintings, but also to the curators and staff at the gallery for providing such an ideal setting in which to view Tony’s work.
Tony was a well-known local painter and a lecturer for many years at West Sussex College of Art and Design.
He is best known for his detailed paintings of Shoreham beach and harbour and the fishing boats of Sussex and Brittany.
His paintings remain his legacy and can be seen at the gallery until January 29.
