Huts way to do it

I HAVE, with varied intervals, lived in the Lancing parish area since the 1950s.

Like many others, especially as a child when spending time at the beach, always envied those lucky enough to have the use of a beach hut.

Why Lancing council would ever think that to build new beach huts that would obscure the sea views of those huts already there is beyond me and, I am sure, any sane-thinking person.

It would be interesting to know what bright spark thought this idea up to start with.

Well done, Adur District Council, for agreeing with 99 per cent of the Lancing population, that the idea was without thought and for financial gain, with little or no consideration for those present users.
