Tim Drew’s column concerning Linkedln and Adobe (Herald, March 26) was most interesting.
Fortunately, since I retired, I no longer have interest in Linkedln, but I do have Adobe on my two computers. These past few months I have had two updates to Adobe – both appearing on screen but not by emails. Is it only the supposed updates in emails that are the problem? Also how do we know, or check to see, that Adobe has been compromised – that is if we can?
Lastly, if our computer has been compromised, how do we clean the computer without sending it off to a usually very expensive computer technician? Possibly James Stoner might have some answers.
