I HAVE just returned from St Andrew’s Church, Tarring, having enjoyed the most moving concert I have ever attended.
The four young ladies who performed displayed such an abundance of talent that a long-standing ovation was given to them at the end of the concert. They sang 17 wonderful songs which had variety, passion and humour, ranging from Amazing Grace to Poor Wandering One and each was sung faultlessly.
How lucky we are in Worthing that these young ladies could entertain an audience of 200-plus, who all left uplifted and appreciative.
Jacquelyne Hill, Faye Ralph, Holy Page and Emma Stevens, you should be very proud of yourselves because we, the residents of Worthing, are so proud of you.
This concert raised £1,700 for St Barnabas House and shows what wonderful young people we have in our town that they were prepared to sacrifice so much of their time preparing and rehearsing the concert for such a worthy cause. With young people like these living in our town, the future of Worthing is looking brighter and brighter.
