Museum is town’s best-kept secret

I have just had the pleasure of being invited to a reception for the mayor’s charity at Worthing Museum.

We were given an insight into the wide range of grants awarded by the Worthing and Adur Fund, and entertained by vocalist Johnny Zero as we looked around all the fascinating displays in the venue.

The exhibition running until July, on 200 years of entertainment in the town, was particularly good.

I went recently to The Novium Museum in Chichester, which charges £7 entry fee to its award-winning modernist building.

Our own museum seems to be Worthing’s best-kept secret, is stuffed with stunning exhibits and it is free!
