Show’s support for charity

I THOUGHT your readers and all the followers of the show That’ll Be the Day which is a favourite when it comes to Worthing at least three times a year would be interested to know about the collection buckets that go around the events.

The collection in the buckets after the shows up and down the country reached in excess of £100,000 for Help for Heroes, and a cheque will be presented to the charity as soon as the final figure is known.

This show has been running now with packed audiences for more than 25 years and the leader, Trevor Payne, was born and brought up in Worthing.

To collect such a vast amount from all those who have had the pleasure supporting his shows is fantastic.

I’m sure anybody who has seen the show would like to read this letter as they were all part of the collection.

Anyone who hasn’t seen this show should go as it gives you that happy feeling when you leave which is what we all need in these troubled times.
