Terrible roads

Last week we visited Worthing, as we are thinking of moving there.

When we arrived in Worthing, and while looking for a parking place, I drove into a massive pothole. By the time we parked in the Civic Centre car park, I noticed my front wheel was flat.

I tried to pump it up but to no avail. Luckily enough, a Kwikfit was open ( as it was a Sunday afternoon) and they managed to replace the tyre at a cost of £140 plus the cost of repairing the rim.

While driving very slowly to Kwikfit, I noticed the disgraceful state of the streets in Worthing.

What do they do with our road fund licence money? It is a disgrace. Needless to say that Worthing is off our list now. Why? Because if the councils treat the roads like this I can’t imagine how they would treat senior citizens when they need their services.
