THE NHS has a permanently bad press and Worthing Hospital has suffered with the rest.
However, I would like to express my gratitude to Worthing Hospital in particular.
My 97-year-old sister, who unfortunately died mainly of old age, was recently treated in Buckingham ward at the hospital with the utmost compassion, and care.
The all-round nursing care, cleanliness and good humour involved could not be faulted and I thank all concerned, particularly Sheila and her team.
Their kindness to me, during an extremely stressful time, was outstanding and helped me to endure it.
Thank you, NHS, and Worthing Hospital.
