That’s my boy

I AM writing with reference to Ian Hart’s comment published last week regards his friend’s and local builder’s experience when searching for an apprentice, which ultimately ended when the mother of the apprentice elect said he would not be taking the job because it was “slave labour” and he could earn more working for Tesco.

I have an 18-year-old son who is currently completing his second-year brickwork level 2 diploma at Chichester College, who would relish the opportunity to earn £100 per week and gain a trade while working alongside an experienced tradesman.

If any local tradesman is looking for a reliable, keen youngster to become a building apprentice, please contact me.
