Treated with kindness

My dear mother recently passed away in Worthing Hospital.

She was only in hospital for two weeks and I had to write about our experience.

She was on Courtlands ward and from day one was treated with dignity, respect and sincere kindness.

We visited every day and were kept up to date with her condition.

Whenever we asked questions, someone would take the time to explain things to us.

All the nurses and housekeeping staff made my mother’s short stay very comfortable and took time to get to know her, which, for an older person, means so much.

I have heard some stories from other people on their bad experiences but I, and my family, have nothing but good words and admiration for the staff.

I would like to say such a big thank you to Worthing Hospital for the kindness and good care my mother received and also that we received, as everyone was so very kind to us with our loss.

Thank you, Worthing Hospital, you did us proud.
