Unacceptable losses

I AM astonished to hear voices of dissent against Worthing Council’s plans to cut back on Worthing theatres, which is losing £1.2million annually.

Why aren’t the dissenters going to the theatres – if just 200 people extra daily paid £16 for tickets to shows there, it would cover all the loses.

It is well-known amongst music journalists and promoters that Worthing theatres seldom exceed 100 people for a live gig.

Even without government cutbacks, the losses Worthing theatres makes for taxpayers are unacceptable anyway.
