Where is the equality?

I feel it is appalling that the Church of England has voted against women bishops.

This church is supposed to be the established church of the UK Parliament.

It is high time, therefore, that the C of E followed the laws of equality for women that every other organisation has to obey.

It is abhorrent that they have exemption from this law.

Also, this means that there would never be any women bishops in the House of Lords.

It is already ridiculous that we have 26 bishops sitting in the House of Lords, which is totally out of proportion to whose professing to be church attenders/ believers of the Church of England.

This privilege should also be taken away from the C of E.
