The Vype eTank pro starter kits were previously available for £25 online at Sainsbury’s, while Vype products can also be found on Amazon as well as specialist retailer websites.
As a precautionary measure, Vype is now asking any customer who purchased an affected device or its standalone battery to return the product for replacement.
To check the product code on your device, you should unscrew the clearomiser from your Vype eThank Pro battery.
The product code will be visible on the top of the battery.

Products purchased in Sainsbury’s will also have the code on the back of the Vype eTank Pro kit.

No other products in the range are known to be affected.
