Blind bowlers at Beach House Park for world championships
Teams from across the world have travelled to Worthing for the competition which is steeped in rich history.
The first competition of the event, which is held every four years, first took place in South Africa in 1977 with the last championship in 2009 being held in Australia.

Hide AdWorthing has hosted the national finals previously but it’s the first time the international finals have been held in the town.
Teams from Australia, Canada, England, Israel, Malaysia, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Scotland, South Africa and Wales will all compete for the top honours in the world of blind bowlers.
