Marvel Mason gets better of Buster
Bognor ABC junior boxer and last year’s Sussex champion Charlie Mason got his new season off to a fantastic start when outpointing Rye ABC’s undefeated Buster Bourne in a fast-paced bout.
Mason used his superior strength and speed in the first two rounds to great effect. Bourne, knowing he was behind on points, tried very hard in the last round but Mason battled with him for a very well-earned unanimous decision.
His coaches said that to take on an undefeated boxer in his own home show and win was a very difficult task.
