The club have announced a special ticket deal for Sunday’s Trophy tie. Anyone who attends Saturday’s home game against Kent will be able to gain entry into Sunday’s game for just £3, with both child and adult tickets accepted.

Thunder’s Supporters Club have also organised a coach to travel to Sheffield for the National Cup final on January 24.

The coach will leave Worthing Leisure Centre around 8am for the 3.30pm tip-off. The cost of travel, which includes a ticket to the game, is £25. Supporters will be able to book their coach place and ticket on Wednesday at Worthing Leisure from 7pm to 8pm, on Friday at Worthing Leisure Centre from 8pm to 9pm or at either game over the weekend.

Thunder coach Daniel Hildreth is already looking forward to the final and praised the work of everyone behind the scenes at the club.

He said: “It’s a huge achievement to make it to a final. It’s great for the club and for everyone behind the scenes.

“The volunteers all put so many hours in to provide us with the best club in the league and I don’t think anyone would argue with that.

“It will be great to have a coach full of fans coming up to support us and to give us that extra boost.

“We’re not just going up for the ride, though, we’re going up there with every intention to win the game and our preparation will be as good as it can be.”
