O’Boyle then took up the mantle, scoring two before half-time. The tally would have been greater had Gleeson not kicked the ball with the goal at his mercy or Moon scored instead of hitting the bar.

After half-time Moon, the club’s top goalscorer, finally got his reward with a well-timed strike.

Despite conceding a goal, Chichester fought back with goals from Bennison and Sowden to make it 8-1 before O’Boyle got his hat-trick and Pacey made it ten.
