The Sidney Allnutt Pavilhas been out of use for several weeks due to building regulation issues, which now seem set to continue for some time.

To help avert a potential drop in income, Rye Cricket Club held its first ever bingo event at Tilling Green Community Centre.

The event raised a much-needed £250 for the ‘Sydney Allnutt Community Pavilion’, with donated raffle prizes and homemade cakes. The evening was enjoyed and well supported by local residents and first team members.

Gary Bourn entertained all with his bingo calling skills. The club would like to thank Tilling Green Residents Association for the bingo machine, Margaret, Shirley, Tina Swann, Sheila, Lyn, Wendy, Elizabeth and Myra for their help, and all who attended.
