England women heading to Arundel

ENGLAND women’s cricket team head to Arundel Castle on Sunday (September 16) looking to continue their outstanding recent run.

The team are unbeaten in 19 T20 internationals and have started the T20 series against the West Indies with two victories.

They cruised to a eight-wicket win in the opening match at Durham on Saturday when they restricted the West Indies to just 71-8, before chasing down the target in only 9.4 overs.

England won the second game by 28 runs at Old Trafford on Monday, when they struck 150-3 from their 20 overs and West Indies responded with 122-6.

The series continues at Northampton today (Thursday), before finishing in Sussex with games at Hove on Saturday (2pm) and then at Arundel on Sunday (2pm).

The match at Arundel begins at 2pm and tickets cost £5 for adults, with entry for under-14s free.
