Goring have struggled in Sussex League Division 3 this season, which has been in contrast to their cup form.

They have beaten Ansty, Stirlands and Burgess Hill in the competition so far this season and will now travel to Sussex League leaders Nomads in the last four.

Maynard said: “Everyone knows about our league struggles this season but we’ll go into Sunday’s game with nothing to lose.

“We know what a good side they are as they challenge for the league title every season.

“No one will expect us to win but we’re a good T20 side and I expect us to go there and give them a game.

“We’ve got a full squad available and everyone will be up for the game.”
