Sussex chairman Jim May said: “We have an exciting fixture list and it is very pleasing that we have an even spread of home fixtures throughout the summer.

“Sussex is one of the few counties that hosts out-ground cricket and it remains vital that local residents and businesses support our festivals to ensure that we are able to continue playing at Arundel and Horsham.

“On the playing front, we have a very competitive squad. We have a number of players, including Matt Prior, returning from injury and they will be supplemented by our new signings, Ajmal Shahzad and Tymal Mills, under the excellent leadership of Ed Joyce.

“We are looking forward to the 2015 season with great optimism.”
