Phelps, who plays for the Haywards Heath, Horsham Ladies on Sunday and Sussex Women, scored her maiden ton batting at three in the Sussex Premier Cricket League 2nd XI Division 3 (East) clash.

Heath posted 259-8 and Glynde finished 230-9.

Phelps’ brilliant 102 came off 87 balls and contained 19 boundaries.

The 23-year-old has played cricket since she was seven and Haywards Heath.

Dad Adam said: “Hannah works really hard at her game and is extremely committed.

“She played Saturday and then drove after the game to Birmingham to play for Sussex Women’s on Sunday in x2 20/20 games v Warwickshire and Lancashire arriving at midnight.”
