T20 BLAST: Surrey v Sussex Sharks
Sussex’s T20 Blast hopes took another knock with a massive defeat at The Oval.
After scoring 148 for five in their 20 overs, Surrey took them apart and got hom by ten wickets and with more than four overs to spare.
Ed Joyce top-scored with 45 in the Sharks innings but Jason Roy’s unbeaten 81 off 58 balls led the Lions’ victory charge.
It leaves Sussex sixth in the south group and with hard work ahead if they’re to make the last eight.
