Aaron Thomason is added to the squad of 12 who completed a three-day win against Hampshire at The 1st Central County Ground on Monday.

Ollie Robinson and Phil Salt will be looking to continue their impressive starts to the shortened 2020 season, while Harry Finch is set to make his 50th first-class appearance.

Captain Ben Brown said: “It will be another exciting challenge against Kent. I think they’re pretty much full strength from what I can see, so it will be a great challenge for us as a young side to go to a Division One team.

After not being included in the squad to face Kent, batsman Laurie Evans has joined Surrey on a one-week loan deal ahead of the London club's Bob Willis Trophy match against Essex.
