Entries now open for seventh Unified Open

ENTRY forms are now available for this year’s Worthing Unified Open, which will be held at Beach House Park from August 31 to September 12.

The total prize money is more than £7,000 and there are singles, pairs, triples and fours competitions.

The tournament is now in its seventh year and secretary Chris Young said: “It’s great to have the tournament back for a seventh year.

“Brian Dunne and I have put a lot of effort into the Unified Open over the past few years and it’s great to see the turnout each year.

“We try to make it as friendly as possible and I think that is the reason why a lot of players continue to come back each year.

“Obviously, as it gets to the business end of the event, the stakes become higher but we still keep that friendly side.

“I’m hopeful that this year will be just as much of a success as it has been over the course of running the event.”
