Premier Enclosure admission is £15 in advance and £20 on the day, with gates opening at 12.30pm.

As it is half-term, children under 16 can enter the racecourse for free when accompanied by an adult.

And, after the first race, there will be a free Easter Egg hunt in Fontwell Gardens, as well as a colouring competition for children to enter.

Fontwell Park general manager Holly Glover said: “Due to the warm weather, we have already started to water the track. The safety of our horses and jockeys is paramount and therefore we are dedicated to providing the best possible racing surface for the meeting.

“The weekend saw smaller fields across the country as we are waiting for trainers to bring out their summer jumpers. However, we are hoping for some good fields on Tuesday and ticket sales have been busy, so we’re expecting a good crowd.”
