GIRLS and boys of Horsham Sparrows FC have scored a winner, receiving a £1,000 grant from the Co-operative's Community Fund to buy new strips.

The club provides football training for children aged between seven and 16 and the Co-operative donation has allowed both the boys' and girls' teams to invest in smart, new kits.

Club secretary Chris Cooper said: "The youngsters are delighted with their new strips, which make them look very professional.
