FOOTBALL: County League round-up (March 28)

EASTBOURNE UA moved above Wick and back to the top of the County League on Saturday (March 28).

Eastbourne beat Selsey 2-0, while Wick scored twice in the last two minutes to grab a 3-3 draw at Hassocks. An own goal, Scott Murfin and a last-minute Julian Curnow penalty were Wick's scorers.

Eastbourne are now one point ahead of Wick with two games in hand.

Arundel remain fifth after Gary Norgate hit a hat-trick in their 3-1 success at Hailsham.

Shoreham, who reached the Brighton Charity Cup final on Thursday with a 3-2 win over Horsham, drew 1-1 at home to Lingfield. Jamie Groves, from the penalty spot, got Mussels' goal.

Worthing United moved off the bottom, above Oakwood, with a 0-0 draw against Whitehawk.

In Division 2, Mile Oak stayed second after a 3-0 win at Storrington. Lloyd Skinner netted twice and Graham Martin also scored for Oak.

Rustington moved back into the top three after a 3-1 win over Seaford. Andy Boxall, Steve Kirkham and Tom Pickford struck for Blues.

James Wotherspoon scored for Southwick in their 1-1 draw at Crawley Down, while Littlehampton drew 0-0 at Bexhill.

Dan Griffin netted Lancing's goal in their 4-1 defeat at Sidley, and Ben Shelford was on target for Steyning Town in their 3-1 loss at Westfield.

Clymping still lead the way in Division 3 after a 5-0 win over Pease Pottage. Tom Bunting hit Clymping's opener before Joe Shelley and Peter Brackley both struck braces.
