FOOTBALL: Rebels snatch victory with two late goals

WORTHING scored twice in the last 10 minutes to win 2-1 at bottom-of-the-table Crowborough in Ryman League Division 1 South on Tuesday (March 17).

Crows took a 71st-minute lead but Ross Treleaven, against his former side, levelled with eight minutes left.

Then, three minutes into injury-time, Worthing got the winner when Will Jenkins headed home Chris O'Flaherty's cross at the back post.

The win lifted Rebels up to second, above Kingstonian, who lost 2-0 at Fleet, who are now third.

Worthing are still six points behind leaders Cray, who beat Chipstead 1-0.
