Albion host Downs Syndrome football for the first time

ALBION In The Community hosted the first Downs Syndrome football tournament at the American Express Elite Performance Centre yesterday.

The event saw more than 40 individuals take part as four sides entered the event. Brighton fielded two sides, while teams from Fulham and Queens Park Rangers also took part.

It was Rangers’ who came out on top in what proved to be a successful tournament.

Event organiser Paul Brackley was delighted with the turn-out for the event.
