Mac Allister cut short a season long deal at Boca Juniors and is available for selection for the final 12 matches of this Premier League campaign.

Brighton signed Mac Allister for a reported £7m in January 2019 but he was unable to play due to work permit issues. They have since been resolved and the Argentian will link up with his teammates at the start of next week ahead of the next Premier League game against Sheffield United on February 22nd.

Three new numbers have been allocated to members of the squad following the January transfer window. Mac Allister was issued the No 10, while Tariq Lamptey, a £4m January deadline day arrival from Chelsea, has been handed the No 2 shirt.

It means Lamptey, 19, will wear the shirt previously worn by former club captain and now player development coach Bruno.

The third shirt was issued to Beram Kayal who was recalled from his loan spell at Charlton Athletic. Kayal will take the number 25 jersey for the rest of the campaign.
