The Premier League will look at using between eight and 10 stadiums and will be granted licences by the sports grounds safety authority. Venues will be selected for ease of social distancing, for keeping people away from the outside of the stadium and local infection rates. Here are the current front runners and also three venues that are unlikely to host
1. Etihad Stadium
Manchester City's home is expected to be used for matches staged in the North East
2. The Emirates Stadium
The home of Arsenal is in line to host London based matches
3. The Amex Stadium
Brighton's ground in Falmer is one of two venues earmarked for the south coast
4. The London Stadium
West Ham's ground is the second stadium planned for London
