Brighton are just two points above the drop zone with 14 points from 17 matches so far this season.
They have played some decent football this campaign but converting encouraging displays into results has been a huge source of frustration.
High on the wish list of many Albion fans this January is a new striker to provide that all-important edge and a left back.
Brighton have been short at left back for a while now and fans have identified two Championship stars who they think fit the bill.

1. Moises Caicedo

2. Dan James
Graham Potter worked well with James during his time at Swansea and Albion fans would love to see his high-paced skills in Albion colours. James has struggled to be a regular in the first team at Man United and has also been been linked with a move to Leeds.
3. Divock Origi
Wolves are said to be interested in signing the Belgian striker from Liverpool but he's name that has also been linked with Brighton. It was rumour that proved popular with the Albion fans who see the 25-year-old as the answer to Albion's scoring problems. Powerful and mobile player with an eye for goal.
4. Sergio Romero
The Man United goalkeeper is way down the pecking order at Old Trafford and is rumoured to be on his way out this January. Some Brighton fans are keen to add the experienced Argentine to the Albion squad as keepers Maty Ryan and Christian Walton could be set to leave the south coast
