Drastic change in relegation odds for Newcastle and Fulham after Brighton's shock win

Brighton recorded their first win at Liverpool for 39 years on Wednesday night and changed the look of the Premier League relegation battle

Brighton recent form of late has been impressive and they have now claimed six points from their last two matches following deserved 1-0 wins against Tottenham and Liverpool.

Graham Potter's team have claimed 10 points from their last 12, with four clean sheets in a row and they are 10 points clear of the bottom three.

Brighton though have little time to celebrate as they return to Premier League action this Saturday at lowly Burnley, who are 17th, two points behind Albion with a game in hand.

Newcastle, Fulham, Sheffield United and West Brom also remain in the thick of the battle to avoid the drop.
