Leandro Trossard has been a vital player for Graham Potter this season but missed the previous two matches with an adductor problem.

Trossard last played in the narrow 2-1 loss at Tottenham and withdrew from all three of Belgium's fixtures during the last international break.

The attacking midfielder missed the 0-0 home draw against Burnley and couldn't recover in time for the morale boosting win at Aston Villa.

The Belgian has provided an attacking threat for Albion this season and with Adam Lallana struggling with a groin problem, his return is timely boost for Graham Potter's team, who have nine points from nine matches.

Trossard has one goal to his name this season and memorably hit the woodwork on three separate occasions during the painful and controversial 3-2 home loss to Man United.

He also cracked the post during Albion's 3-0 away triumph at Newcastle.

Trossard is not the fastest player but he has a happy knack of linking the midfield and attack and is always capable of providing an assist for the likes of Neal Maupay and Danny Welbeck.

Davy Propper is also available for selection having not featured at all from Albion in the Premier League this campaign.

The Dutch international has recovered from an Achilles issues and was set to be included in the matchday squad at Villa but missed out with a stomach bug.

At his best Propper is a vital component in Potter's midfield and adds an experience and technical ability that has sometimes be lacking.

"We've got a couple coming back," said Potter. "Leo Trossard will be available in the squad.

"He's trained a couple of times with us. So that's good news. And Adam Lallana, we still need to give him a bit more time after the weekend.

"Solly had a slight feeling in his ankle but nothing too bad. I think he should be okay. Other than that I think we’re pretty much as we were against Villa."

Brighton will however be without flying wing back Tariq Lamptey who serves a one-match ban following his sending off at Aston Villa.

"There’s plenty of possibilities," said Potter. "That’s the positive I suppose with using players in different positions, it goes without saying there isn’t another Tariq though.

"We have to be honest about that, that affects how you’re attacking to a certain extent because clearly the attributes he brought are important to our attacking games, but we’ve got other solutions and different solutions.

"So that is part of the work he have been doing this week, to make sure we go with the right option."

Liverpool have a host of injury problems and there are suggestions that this could be a good time to play the premier League champions.

Potter, however, spots very few weaknesses in Jurgen Klopp's squad who last time out in the Premier League thrashed Leicester 3-0.

"There’s never a good or bad time to play them, there is just a time to play them and our time is now.

"We have to play well, they have got some problems, but they have also got a lot of solutions.

"They have got world class players available to them and they will be looking to bounce back from the disappointment from midweek in the Champions League, and build on what I thought was a fantastic performance against Leicester.

"They’re the champions, they were the champions of Europe, they’ve got an incredible manager and an incredible squad.

"My respect for them is huge, you know whenever you play them you face a massive test."
