Brighton boss Graham Potter admits his side must add substance to style in order to haul themselves away from relegation danger.

Albion have regularly received plaudits for their easy-on-the-eye approach to games but remain entrenched at the wrong end of the Premier League table amid an alarming run of form.

The Seagulls have tasted top-flight victory just twice all season and sit two points above the bottom three ahead of Saturday’s home game with Wolves.

While Potter has repeatedly expressed satisfaction at his team’s displays, he acknowledges a swift upturn in results is the only way to improve the club’s perilous position.

Albion will give late fitness tests to Adam Lallana (groin) and Danny Welbeck (knee) ahead of the meeting with Wolves but full-back Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) remains sidelined.

Wolves duo Leander Dendoncker and Willy Boly remain doubts for the trip to the south coast.

The pair have missed the last three games, including the 1-0 defeat at Manchester United, after picking up injuries in Wolves’ win over Chelsea two weeks ago.

Raul Jimenez remains a long-term absentee after fracturing his skull in November while Jonny (knee) is still sidelined.

"Brighton are still without a win at home all season in the Premier League and their 1-0 defeat against Arsenal means they are without a win in seven matches," wrote Owen in his BetVictor blog.

"Wolves’ form isn’t much better. They’ve had one win in six and are still struggling in front of goal without Raul Jimenez.

"These two have traditionally played out low scoring affairs. Ten of their last 11 matches have seen under 2.5 goals and I wouldn’t be at all surprised if this match followed that trend."
