'Out of control!' Brighton fans react to John Lundstram's 'shocking' red card on Joel Veltman

Lundstram was out of control as he clattered into Joel Veltman on 40 minutes during a fiercely contested scoreless first half at the Amex Stadium.

The referee Peter Bankes showed a yellow card to the United midfielder but over-turned his decision after a VAR check and issued a red card to the 26-year-old.

Roy Keane described Lundstram as 'out of control' and said the referee made the right choice as it's his responsibility to protect the players.

Veltman was unable to continue in the second half and was replaced by Alireza Jahanbakhsh.
