Dominic Calvert-Lewin celebrated his first England call-up by scoring in a fourth successive Premier League match as Everton returned to the top of the table for 24 hours at least.

Neal Maupay netted home an equaliser after a mistake from Jordan Pickford but Everton's Colombia connection saw James Rodriguez’s free-kick headed home by Yerry Mina with Rodriguez then scoring twice after half-time.

Yves Bissouma scored a well taken consolation for Albion.

It's safe to say the Albion fans were not impressed. Here's what they had to say on social media:

@FootyAlbionMe Another mistake leads to a goal. Of those conceded so far in the Premier League this season, only Reece James and Marcus Rashford’s we’re not self inflicted.

@AndyMans100 We can't keep gifting goals to teams and conceding when we've just scored. Defending was dismal today. Must make better use of set pieces. Looked dangerous when we got it in the box but we simply don't do it enough. Must improve. #BHAFC

@james_marsh68 Well that’s a shambles I am afraid, ridiculous constant short corner and zonal marking awful at both ends of the pitch today. No points for possession. We look a soft touch at the moment. #BHAFC

@Brightonfan Bad day at the office, we got rightfully punished for yet again 4 mistakes. The writing was on the wall for us, when we have the ball away in the first minute and Calvert-Lewin had his shot saved by Ryan. #bhafc

@yorker129_7 Should be said, Everton are a joy to watch, hope they do very well this season. #EVEBHA #efc #bhafc

@WillHawkins910 Bissouma’s goal might just be a hint at what happens when players ACTUALLY SHOOT FOR ONCE

@MJSowerby Imo goalscoring isnt a massive problem. Its not having a different option atm either to play with Maupay/Connolly or to come off the bench. Maybe Zeqiri will be that option? #BHAFC
