Defender Adam Webster is back in full training and could be available for selection ahead of Everton's visit to the Amex Stadium.

Webster had been in fine form for the Albion in the early part of the season but has not featured since he rolled his ankle during the hard-fought 1-1 at Burnley in February.

Defender Dan Burn is also training and will also be assessed ahead of Monday. Burn, injured his hamstring during the first half of Brighton's 2-1 win and Southampton and missed the 3-0 victory against Newcastle and the last Sunday's 2-1 away loss at Manchester United.

Albion head coach Graham Potter said: "Both have trained this morning (Thursday) so that is good news for us, so that is really positive.

"It is nice to have Dan and Adam back. We will see how they respond. They have a few more training sessions before now and the match.

"For the last two or three matches we have been working with three defenders," said Potter. "Credit to the players they have managed to go through that and we found a solution.

"But if you have good players coming back it's beneficial to the team and that's what we need over the next eight matches."

Striker Aaron Connolly could also train ahead of Everton and has a chance of recovering from heavy bruising sustained while playing for Ireland during the previous international break.

Potter said: "He has not trained this week. It is a soreness on his foot so we are waiting to see how that pain goes. He has a chance to be involved in training at the back end of the week."

Florin Andone continues his recovery from a knee injury, while Solly March (knee) and Tariq Lamptey (hamstring) are out for the season.

Percy Tau remains in quarantine following his appearances for South Africa in the previous international break.

"He is recovering, he has been out for a long time," said Potter of Andone. "He has worked hard to be back. He is due to get some time with the under-23s and from there we make the right steps to get him back up to match fitness."
