Albion have played some attractive football this season but after the thrilling 3-3 draw against Wolves, Graham Potter' s men are 17th and just two points above the drop zone.
Many have called for Brighton to splash to cash on a new striker during the window to provide that cutting edge and lift them away from the relegation danger.
Here we take a look at who could add firepower to the Seagulls attack and who we feel would be realistic targets and would fit into Potter's style of play.

1. Robert Sanchez
Graham Potter and Brighton are keen to promote the academy graduate to the regular No 1 spot ahead of Maty Ryan. The 6ft 6in Spaniard looks set to be the main man between the sticks for 2021.
2. Ben White
Made the step up to Premier League level with ease. Has played central midfield but his best position in this Brighton team seems to be on the right of the defensive trio. Good on the ball and reads the game well. Classy defender and future England international.
3. Lewis Dunk
Scored at West Ham and against Wolves. The Brighton skipper continues to lead by example with his performances on the pitch. A fierce determination to win and always willing to block, tackle and defend with everything he has in each game. Good in possession which is crucial to Potter's way of playing
4. Adam Webster
Adapted well to playing on the left side of the three man defence and seems to be getting better with each game this season. Continues to divide opinion with the fans but a very reliable, fully committed and trusted member of Graham Potter's squad.
