Cricketers to meet in football match
THE cricketers of Sussex and Hampshire will meet in a football match at Littlehampton’s Sportsfield ground on Wednesday (October 9; 7.45pm).
Sussex have named a 17-man squad for the game, which includes vice-captain Chris Nash, Rory Hamilton-Brown, Matt Machan, Ben Brown, Chris Liddle and Will Beer.
Hampshire have yet to announce their squad but are hopeful that several of their first-team squad will be involved.
Entry is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
