Danny Bloor's Eastbourne sit eighth in the National League South following an excellent 2-1 win at Hampton and Richmond.

Skipper Charlie Walker's double put Sports 2-0 up at the Beveree before Hampton pulled one back and made the visitors work hard to hang on for the three points.

In the Isthmian premier, OJ Koroma scored his second and third Worthing goals in just his second game as Adam Hinshelwood's men came from behind to win 2-1 at Potters Bar and go three points clear in top spot. They've won seven games out of eight - only one of which has been at home.

A division lower, Hastings are another side seeking to show that last season's top spot in March, which counted for nothing, can be repeated. They beat Whitehawk 2-1 at The Pilot Field with Kenny Podue and Ben Pope on target.

Chris Agutter's team are four points clear at the top.

In the same division Burgess Hill slipped to bottom place with a 5-0 loss at Whyteleafe, while East Grinstead went second thanks to a 2-1 win at Phoenix, Louie Theophanous and an own goal securing the victory.
