For the second round in a row, Golds will face a visiting team from a tier three area in the Vase - ,meaning strict controls have to be put in place.

Littlehampton explained all on their website, saying that tickets for the third round match this Saturday must be purchased in advance and no fans from Tier 3 will be permitted.

They said: "Our FA Vase Third Round match versus Hanworth Villa on Saturday 19 December will be TICKET ONLY and no fans from a Tier 3 Covid-19 restricted region will be permitted to attend.

"This follows detailed discussions with various officials, local authorities and Hanworth Villa FC. Littlehampton is in a Tier 2 Covid-19 restricted region whereas Hanworth is in a Tier 3 region. Due to this the UK Government advise against travel from Tier 3 to Tier 2 areas. As a result NO fans who are resident in Tier 3 regions will be permitted to attend the game.

"The game will be ALL TICKET. Tickets are available to purchase - proof of address will be required - in person from the Club (in The Sportsman) on: Wednesday 16th December 6pm - 8.30pm; Thursday 17th December 6pm - 8.30pm; Friday 18th December 6pm - 8.30pm. Ticket Prices are as follows:

£6 Adults, £3 Concessions, £2 U16.

"The Sportsman clubhouse will only be open these nights for purchase of tickets and the bar will not be open. For residents who are outside of Littlehampton who can’t get to the ground to purchase a ticket please email: [email protected]

"On matchday our clubhouse will not be open due to the current government guidelines. The kiosk will be open serving food hot drinks and soft drinks only. We await the government review scheduled for Wednesday and will issue a further update if we change tier.

"A reminder for spectators: No Alcohol is permitted to be brought into the ground and the use of pyrotechnics, such as flares, is illegal in football grounds. Anyone caught breaking these regulations will be removed from the ground and banned from future matches. A large crowd is expected so make sure you get your ticket early."

Also in FA Vase action on Saturday are Lancing, who are at home to North Greenford.
