New Hastings boss named

Jason Hopkinson is the new manager of Hastings United Football Club.

Eastbourne-based Hopkinson, who worked as assistant to Steve Ibbitson at Lewes until the autumn, takes over from Tony Dolby, who left the club by mutual consent at the weekend.

Hopkinson will take a watching brief for the trip to Croydon Athletic in the Premier Division of the Ryman League on Saturday when chairman Dave Walters will lead the side.
