Rebels boss Adam Hinshelwood said: “They’re two good additions to the squad and it gives us more options, while it also adds a bit more competition to the squad.

“Matt is a player I’ve liked for a long time. He’s a really good footballer and can play in a couple of positions.

“Billy is a good footballer, too, and I like that fact that they’re both left-footed as well. And if we play three at the back, Billy could give us a bit more balance on the left-hand side.”

On Piper, Agnoly and Cody heading to EP, Hinshelwood said: “It’s good for them to go out and get some minutes for a month or so and they can then come back to us.

“I’m happy with the squad we’ve got together here now, although am always looking to strengthen it.

“We’ve got three successive home games coming up, so it’s good opportunity for us to build some momentum.”

Tonight’s match with Horsham is a 7.45pm kick-off at Woodside Road.
