Rebels drop a place to fifth

WORTHING FC dropped a place to fifth in Ryman League Division 1 South on Wednesday (December 14) after Folkestone beat Maidstone 3-2.

Darren Smith scored an injury-time winner for Folkestone to send them up to fourth and they are now one point ahead of Rebels, who have a game in hand.

The defeat was Maidstone’s fourth in a row in all competitions and they are the visitors to Worthing on Saturday (December 17), with a 3pm kick-off. Both teams have 38 points, although Maidstone have played a game more.
