Rebels release duo after investigation
WORTHING Football Club have released two players as a result of an investigation into events that occurred on the flight home from Guernsey on October 26.
Jamie Crellin and John Lansdale, who has since joined Eastbourne Town, have both left the club.
In a club statement on their website, Worthing said: “As a result of an investigation into events occurring on the return flight from Guernsey on October 26, the board of directors have found that certain individuals have acted in a manner bringing Worthing Football Club into disrepute.
“As such, two individuals have been released from the club and a further two given formal warnings.”
