Rocks rained off - but Pagham are glad county league games survive

The Rocks' lead at the top of Ryman one south is down to a point after they made the long trip to Ramsgate only for the game to be rained off.

The Rams had passed the pitch fit for play in the morning but further rain made it unplayable and the game was called off close to 2pm - infuriating many of the Rocks fans who had made the long journey, who felt a decision could have come earlier.

There was more bad news for the green army later when Met Police grabbed a 90th-minute winner to win 3-2 at Chatham to cut the Rocks’ lead at the top to a point. The Met have one game in hand.
