Sky Sports coming to Hastings

Sky Sports News will be coming to The Pilot Field this afternoon (Sunday).

Hastings United will be joined in their clubhouse by the television cameras for live reaction to the draw for round three of the FA Cup.

The clubhouse opens at 12noon, ITV’s live game between MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon will kick-off at 12.30pm and the draw will follow at around 2.30pm.

United earned their place in the draw via a 1-1 draw away to higher grade Harrogate Town in round two yesterday (Saturday).

Blue Square Bet North side Harrogate took a half time lead through Tom Platt’s close range header, but Ryman League Premier Division outfit responded strongly in the second period and equalised through Jamie Crellin.

A replay will take place at The Pilot Field on Tuesday December 11, kick-off 7.45pm, and will only change if television coverage demands something different.
